Definition of a Shadowcast:
Shadowcasting is when a live ensemble recreates a movie on stage while the film is playing behind them. It is the ultimate melding of Film and Theatre, with the cast complimenting the action on screen and subtly contrasting it with their own unique vision. As such, you are really getting two shows for the price of one.

This weekend I celebrated mine and my boyfriend’s first anniversary by spending the day making sushi. I know this isn’t art in the traditional sense, but tell me it isn’t beautiful. :)

These are my first and second attempts at painting clouds in Photoshop. I’ll be trying out other landscapes and textures soon.

It’s about time I posted something finished. I doodled this little guy while having a beer and watching Sad Guru play at The Rainbow downtown, and then I coloured him up during the slow hours at work. I call him Jazzy.

Sorry it’s been a while. Spent some time looking up tutorials on digital painting and decided to take a crack at it. Here’s a tiny sample of my current work in progress. Going to take ages to paint all the fur. I don’t mind though, there’s something therapeutic about it.

Mercury Girls
Bonjour!
